Transportation Misuse: Subject Became Airport Shuttle for Someone He Is Not Dating

Commonly Heard From Affected Individuals

  • "The airport is far though."
  • "She trusts me enough to ask."
  • "It's honestly not a big deal."
  • "She said she owes me one."
Representative Scenario
The subject drove 38 minutes each way to pick her up from the airport at 11:50 p.m. She slept in the car, said "you're the best," and later posted a photo from the trip with another man cropped poorly but visibly.

FIG. 01 · REPRESENTATIVE DOCUMENTATION · INSTITUTE FOR APPLIED DIGNITY

The Institute distinguishes between generosity and route capture. This file concerns a subject who became available enough to be considered infrastructure.

I. The Pickup

The subject monitored the flight, left early, paid for short-term parking, and brought a phone charger.

The other party slept for most of the ride. This reduced conversation but did not reduce his interpretation.

II. The Phrase "You're the Best"

The phrase was submitted as evidence of special status.

The Institute notes that "you're the best" is commonly said to people holding doors, covering shifts, and driving to airports when rideshare prices are high.

III. Route Capture

After multiple rides, the subject became part of the travel plan before becoming part of any romantic plan.

This is a structural warning. The calendar recognizes him. The relationship does not.

Institute Finding

Subject became airport infrastructure for someone who has not cleared him for arrival.
